On Millionaires Row in Altrincham for a year or more.
Looks as though it's been 'barryed' a bit - aftermarket exhaust, black grills...I wonder which engine it has? Pity the number plate is missing!

Every time I visit I'm surprised to see it still there. I presumed the plates had gone because it was dumped. I'll take a pic of the VIN if it's visible.
Unfortunately I think you have to open the bonnet to see the VIN.I have a 3 series coupe but I'm blowed if I can remember if the VIN is accessible through the windscreen.
I know it's printed on the suspension turret though!

What could be lurking inside this austro-hungarian era building in downtown Belgrade, Serbia, I wondered?
This, under some sheets of iron. Any ideas? Looks kinda Beetle-ish.
FIAT 1500E possibly, the rear light is wrong but perhaps a later modification to make night driving less hazardous. Not many other things it could be with it being pillarless with clap hands doors. Only 1700 made, so rare even when new. This, under some sheets of iron. Any ideas? Looks kinda Beetle-ish.

There should be a VIN visible in the windscreen on an E46. I seem to recall the original Ford Mondeo was one of the first - if not the very first - to feature a windscreen VIN.I have a 3 series coupe but I'm blowed if I can remember if the VIN is accessible through the windscreen.

Elusive.
It's LHD. If the VIN is on the other side on LHD cars, it will remain elusive. It's a bit too composty on the other side and I wasn't dressed for agricultural interventions.

I think that's the regular spot, so likely a bit too moist, or, possibly been covered up. I use a discreet air freshener, as having the VIN on public display wasn't helpful in the olden days. If it's that damp inside, don't fancy it's chances longer term, either. It's LHD. If the VIN is on the other side on LHD cars, it will remain elusive. It’s a crappy old BMW….. who cares ….
It's an E46 Coupe. I saw a manual 330i saloon advertised for £7,995 recently so the right Coupe certainly has some value now they are heading for 20 years old. And it would be good to see it get saved.

Left to die on the corner of a back street in Budapest, though I must admit, not necessarily rotting as a plastic sheet has been placed atop it.
What is it, any ideas?
