Cool, the 240Z was one of the few cars that were crying out for aftermarket alloys, when launched. They suit it admirably.

Gentlemen - it's a long walk back to England. And it's that way.

Given you seemingly know the registration and are the only person I'm aware of to devoutly follow Maxis and Princesses, you probably know more than most of us?
Apparently it is now in Northampton, so travelled about 100 miles south from Rampton.

If now covering scrapyards. This looks like a scrapyard, but its not.

There is certainly some interesting things here; pre-WW2 Chvy trucks, Vietnam War era trucks and jeeps, at least one Bedford RL, Fords, Morris. Bizarrely a Bond Equipe with UK plates, EJM 169F, sorned since 2009, no export market, and now rotting in Thailand. And a Reliant Robin, SWG 736S, last taxed in 1991, also no export marker. A 1963 Bond Minicar, also on UK plates, BOC 686A, last last logbook change 2004, with an export marker.A Reliant Regal BNU841L, last MOT'd in 2009. I see also a Trabant.

Appears to be some sort of annex to the Jeseda Tecknik Museum

https://www.jesadatechnikmuseum.com/en/

The collection of some eccentric Thai who brought hundreds of cars and buses from Europe and elsewhere.

I suspect a mixture of excess collected cars, maybe awaiting some sort of restoration, and spares cars. And a shed load of fire tenders. I think the Japanese fire tender that was a "Gift of the Japanese People" was something to do with the 2004 Tsunami. It seems Japan does quite a lot of donating used fire engines.

Good find. Strangely I don't think I realised it was in Rampton previously, which is 10 minutes from me.

It seems the Thai "yard" is well known.

The Riley also left the UK in 2004.

These cars can't have been that bad when they were exported not that long ago.
