Nope ,the real thing , 5 litre engine ,no MOT for 2 1/2 years , an M5 is likely to bork and cost £££££$$$$ a lot more than the others in the range .![laugh](/inc/images/laugh.gif)
It looked like a 520d M-Sport so I floored my Z4M and the M5 flew past with the driver grinning - got a thumbs-up for effort I suppose!

Conversely, my mate had a TDI A4 with S4 badges! The only issue with that is when he first did it people would want to play only to laugh when it puffed out a plume of smoke!

Round here there is a Golf 'R'. He floored it away from the corner shop the other day, demonstrating it's the lesser spotted Golf R diesel.Fermit said:

Incredible, apart from the boot badge, these appear to be identical cars. A car that sold in miniscule numbers, mostly rotted away before the 3rd MOT, and two pristine survivors are both white. With mudflaps and auto box.https://www.flickr.com/photos/128691640@N04/396032...
Obviously it is the same car (stickers on rear screen). But with the low miles, is it actually the same car as in the brochuire

How may 1.8 automatic SSS's came to the UK, were white and hardly used?

Not on topic, but back in the 80's my dad had a Ford A Series 6 cylinder diesel as a recovery truck. It kept dropping piston liners, they had a rear ended SD1 in the yard that was scrap. Yup, the 3.5 V8 and 4 speed box ended up in the A series mated to the standard ratio axle. It looked a stock white A series recovery truck, sounded a bit meatier, but it used to kill Golf GTis and XR3is off the lights ![clap](/inc/images/clap.gif)
Equally not on topic, but that reminds me of this contraption, which failed to sell at H&H in March 2020 and has been doing the rounds seemingly ever since.![clap](/inc/images/clap.gif)

G plate, fully functioning Transit Breakdown, with a Rolls-Royce V8, auto transmission and side pipes.
