New Rule: if you have no clue what the Club is about, you are automatically a member of the Club.
Add me to the list - like the tyre based sticker.

As the owner of an Alfa that has not turned a wheel in over 17 years can I start a zero MPH section for those of us who have "restoration" projects?
Yes, you are duly appointed Club Registrar of the 0mph Register.

BV, welcome on board...will reply to your PM in a min' - have some Italian'esque news for you.

Johnfm, thought of you earlier today and delighted to read your question as to what the bloody hell is going on? In answer, we haven't a clue but seems to involve a Steady Barker speed of 55mph, much international correspondence, a bunch of club rules and some bugger who keeps forgetting our illustrious colleague RoyC. Oh, and LBS is tarting it up somewhere with his Plymouth Ho'e...

I'll definitely jump on the stickers - how do we go about with the costs?

Right that's enough silliness for one day...off to France in the morning and have yet to pack a bag.

Hrimfaxi/All, I've contacted the PH sticker people asking for approx' pricing. As soon as I receive this from them I'll copy onto the thread. I'm guessing we can either pay by Paypal or I'm happy to arrange with the sticker provider for them to charge and deliver individually to us all. Whichever's easiest for all.

Back next Thursday...Happy 55'ing one and all...

Vixen1700 wanted two, he did it a couple of times, but kept being edited out.

I've put it back up to two for him (although I don't know him), as he commented at the same time mine were edited out.

How about "My other car will do 60(downhill)" stickers? Please also do a re-order on the "honk if your horn is broken" ones, as we've run out.

Six stickers for me, our Bonnie, Bantam, XJ40 and GSX14s all do 55 at least twice every journey.

Ignore him, Roy.

I know John, he's not club material. He's foreign (one of these upstart new worlders) and doesn't have an MGB. He also hates taking picnics by the side of a noisy road while waiting for recovery and doesn't own a single MG branded nylon jacket. Not club material at all.

Another here.
May I suggest either a special handshake, or hand signal so I/we may be able to identity another member in Tesco or B&Q etc, only the rules stipulate that we can't discuss FFC.

I read this thread from back to front, so presumably I qualify? I can pay with Greenshield stamps as well. Is there a time limit on proving our double nickel credentials? My old Rangie needs a long hill to descend, which it will take much longer to ascend first...

Count me in, ex MGBGT owner, and current DD is a diesel pickup, over 55mph not likely, unless "gravity" and "off a cliff" are entered into the speed equation
