Good shout on th Morgan SLR. Has been my dream car since I first discovered them a few years ago, saw one racing at Donnington and think they are just beautiful....
Sorry but the blue SLR in the racing photo (SAH137) is the Triumph SLR. Not many people know there was one.dinkel said:

No they didn't!Intermeccanica are still a going concern: http://intermeccanica.com/ These days they are in Canada and produce Porsche 356 and VW Kubelwagen replicas. Erich Bitter was the distributor for the Indra in Germany.

AFAICR it's an Ace/Aceca chassis extended to make a 4-seater coupé.
In principle yes, but it had a more technical i.r.s. than the Ace's transverse leaf/wishbone and a coil-spring double wishbone i.f.s.Cutaway here

Spot on, it is nice to see an informed opinion on one of GB's better makes of car, unfortunately no more. I fully restored one of these in the 70's, and found it was a bigger task than I had anticipated, but worth it when finished.Cutaway here

The Ace and Aceca have a very "vintage" feel and tend to bounce along rough roads.
