I mean: are sidepipes allowed on a FIA-Cobra? . . . as the 6 hrs race is a FIA-race.

What do I have to do?
Get down on my knees and beg or something?
No, no, no Ken, just wait and all will be posted: busy over here!

Best wishes BTW!

Nothing in the fia papers on a Griff on where the pipes have to exit. Presume must be the same for a Cobra - if they weren'y allowed they would not have gotten through scrutineering wink

I think: sidepipes on a 427 and backpipes on a 289.
Tona Coupe has sidepipes as well . . . Wonder if any reps race?

Never saw an 'original' Griff with sidepipes.

Love the pipes on Rogers Bizza.

Jeeeeeeeez Dinks that's great. Pity it isn't a Jag or I'd want that on the wall too. biggrin

1/10s !
I think you've been practising your panning.
It's a great example of just how much the perspective changes in rotation. Nice sharp corner to the A pillar and everything else is just total movement.

I must admit that classic cars have never really been THE thing for me, I've always respected them, but they've just never been my sort of thing...

BUT seeing your pictures and having a bit of googling over the snowed in week has made me realise what I was missing out on.. I really should get out there and snap up a classic to take racing lol

Hard working driver in this Ford GT.

Father and son Bryant sharing the HEM6 Cobra with Andrew Smith.

Neil Hardy and Jeremy Welch rocking in the Welch Healey.

I think I see Wolfgang driving his Project Aston rep. The original sits in his garage.

How I'd love to see Rogers car finishing - the Comet top 15, the Bizza top 8 - next Spa6.

Welch Healey action:

Debra cleans the mess her husband Neil made.

Jeremy knocks of the wheels before he goes for the last hour.

"Bloody wheel won't come off!!!"

Two loads of fresh oil in. A 26th place for the Welch healey. Not bad - David Grace 36, Dutch Healey 37 and 41 - although last year was better.

A splendid 7th for this DB4 GT jewel.

Next: Barries race!

More please Dink. Is that the one with the 351cu Ford. I seem to remember it had very narrow rims on it.

Not a Tiger fan, only so much you can do with them or get from them.

I think it has a 7 litre, maybe Phil can tell.

Speaking of which:

Cheng took the first stint.

Chris Scragg tried but had to retire. He will be back next year: vengeance!

Grinning going on in the Datsun office.

Typical Jerry look: he looks tougher than he is though.

TR4 lost 4 laps on Chengs Cob.

More soon.
