The 'rotting' picture appears to have chrome strip on the top edgeof the wing and, to me, the trunk lid doesn't have the tumblehome of the Fleetwood. Plus the mystery's rear lights aren't that far behind end of the trunk

They look pretty similar to me! As regards the chrome strip, remember that American cars of that era were almost infinitely customizable, by factory and dealer, to the point that you'd be hard pressed to find two that were exactly the same. Minor styling differences such as presence or absence of brightwork are to be expected.

Like this sad Aston Martin at England's creepiest hotel. Close up, its in pretty rough condition.

The owner is an "artist" who lives with the wierdo Anglo-Kazakh couple who own the pile, flying their Q-flag from the top on occasion. If you are a middle aged lady, the artist will give you a personal tour of his dungeon/art exhibit, while trying to sell you some rather poor quality art featuring somewhere a single eye. Oh, and they are Scientologists, though I'm sure a totally innocent pursuit. The Aston Martin is normally parked on the unused helicopter pad built for a former US President to use during a golfing holiday. He never came, but they visited him.

The sort of people you’d meet on holiday who seem nice enough at first until you actually get to meet the real them…

Top work, many thanks.

I'm glad I wasn't too far off albeit a few years out.

I'll post there here as there's no thread titled "mouldy old tat left to die and upset the neighbours"

From the left we have a white RR Silver Cloud, and XC70, 2 x RR Silver Shadows, then the XJ-S and the scruffy XKs. On the right is a red Lexus and another Shadow The Shadow on the right has been there for about 3 years, the 2 on the left about 5 years. The others come and go. There's a Merc CLK banger rally special parked in one of the drives by the Cloud. If you go back through the years you can see an assortment of utter tat passes through.

Not showing pictures for obvious reasons but there is a complete, and totally original, Island Blue MkII Morris Mini Cooper S in an open barn not far from me which I would dearly love to buy. All there but the shell is complete and utterly fecked. The only 'final' resto I would like to undertake.

Compared to here, in the boondocks of the Wet Country, that looks like idyllic amounts of available parking, like soemthing out of a TV cop show set 40 years ago, filmed on a low budget with not enough period cars for realism.

Does the tat owner live on the corner? In which case he's(and it will be a he) a selfish given the entire "garden" is paved and has room for all the cars.

Isn't that a Daihatsu Charade 3rd generation?

E reg Lotus Excel S.E. not too far from Acle, Norfolk. last MOT 2010 had barely moved for the 3 years before that although still passing the tests.

There are plans to restore that, once the owner's hedge fund pays out.

And which one of those cars do you think ISN'T going to leak oil everywhere and ruin his block paving? hehe
