Not my photos but a nice selection at a local meet at Lilbourne in Warwickshire the other evening...

Coogan's best character, far better than Partridge!
Yes, I nearly agree - at least as good as! That yellow Mach 1 car was written off and subsequently crushed after an accident unfortunately.

Not a lover of the Mach 1 compared to earlier Mustang variants whistle but really like the 351 in Cleveland form however yum agree with the Coogan comment too , the Partridge series got more advanced than it deserved , Steve Coogan as Paul Calf now that was funny

Back when Britain was badly cylinder-starved, the sight and sound of American muscle really lifted the spirits.

US factory hot-rodded engines were just that not the GT/warm rubbish we got here , proper high CR ratio's, radical cams, BV heads mad carb combo's etc and of course the essential cubes , even Lotus Fords and Holbay Hillmans Fiat twin cams etc etc all had soft tuned engines in comparison

I have to admit that whenever I see a posting of an old Mercedes or BMW, that quite apart from anything older than about 1980, I am totally uninterested although I do fully understand why others may differ. But more than anything, I dread an onslaught of E and W numbers, none of which I understand. It is a case of 'look away now!'

Wow. That is a properly rare sight. I saw one on a B road outside Welwyn Garden City in the early ‘90s, but never again since then.

Golf Cabriolet “Genesis” has had the same owner as long as I can remember. A bit faded but well-used:

And this looks to be very well maintained:

Sorry Dinkel, but that's a 2nd generation Century the GZG50, 1997 - 2017, it's just under 2 tons and has the 5 litre V12. It's the current 3rd generation G60 that's the 5.0 V8 hybrid, the same drivetrain as the LS600h.

Didn't know Jeroen had a GTV. Last I saw him (and his beard! wink ) he was riding shotgun with Dimer v-S in either an S2000 or an NSX.

Truth there: the owner corrected me on FB > he bought the car two weeks ago and I had no chance for a proper chat yet.
