There is also a lovely Cortina Crusader Estate adjacent to the Black RS2000.
Isn't it a Carousel?
Could be either, I think: both were available two tone.

I didn't know that. I thought the Crusader had a big pinstripe thing and the Carousel was two-tone.

Lovely day for Hurworth Classic Car Show (near Darlington)

Loved this car, never seen one in the flesh before, utterly gobsmackingly gorgeous:

Is that real or a recreation? Looks good either way, just not 100% sure on the wheels and some of the body lines.... granted it's probably been 30 years since i've seen one in the flesh!

It's not an original, it's a 'continuation' built in the 80s.

Carousel were all two tone, Forest Green over Crystal Green, Graphite Grey over Strato Silver or Roman Bronze over Tuscan Beige.

Crusaders were available in more colours. They came about two years after the Carousel. Single tone with chrome bumpers or two tone with black bumpers.
I know of one local dealer that 'made' a two tone Crusader that went out with chrome bumpers. Popular choices were red over silver and blue over silver.

And to throw a fox into the hen house - some dealers would improvise for a sale: Gates in Hitchin painted my old Cortina to match the Granada Sapphire of the time, as that's what the first owner wanted...

Couple from a local show at the weekend, including a pretty rare Jensen S-V8

[quote=MDMA .]Few classic and modern day classics from today’s local meet.

I like the wide body M-Series next to the three wheeler.

My local dealer also painted a brand new Granada Ghia X in the old Sapphire colour scheme.

Not a spot as such, given it was a local meet; but thought it was worth uploading due to the rarity. A Cavalier Centaur.

Actually – what is it? I thought on first glance it was a Subaru XT, because it has the same (slightly odd) cabin shape and proportions but now realise it's some kind of Nissan.
