Was his an orange LHD? Passed him today. I think it belongs to a RAF chap I was at school with. An ex used to have one too, but sold on a couple of year ago, went down south iirc.

Dark Blue Lotus Elan 2+2 with a silver roof, M reg'd - Heckmondwike today. The guy was driving round the block, possibly checking that some mechanical work had been successful?

there was good little display of Loti' there today, the Esprits and the Exiges in particular!
did you see the absolutely stunning white Morgan Aero 8 in the next display?
there were 2 C6 Corvette's in the 'Vette display and i stumbled across a rather stunning yellow Ferrari Dino too!

very much like the P6 3500S! i noticed there were several about today and a P4! i can't believe i missed that Noble! never mind, its only a GTO-3 and i went out in a GTO-3R back in '04!
on the way back we followed an Austin 7 through Kimbolton, Gt Staughton, Hail Weston and then through town!

Now you point it out, that rings a vague bell in the back of my mind. I seem to remember reading a feaure about this car. M-reg is very early for an Eclat or and Elite anyway, isn't it?, and IIRC it's a prototype Eclat. I'll dig through some back issues and see what I can find.

these look like an interesting pair. the bottom ones in a bit of a sorry state, nothing a good body/nut and bolt resto couldn't sort though i think!
did you find these in the village?

yeah i love Interceptors. they are one of THE late 60's/early 70's GT's IMO!

IIRC, the owner and or his then girlfriend used to live out your way.

I prefer the one Uma drives in Kill Bill 2, much subtler colour...and would look perfect outside my kitchen window wink

I remember the article a bit, when the owners bought it, it had no badges on it and they thought it was an incredibly early Eclat but read up on it and somethign about a dip in the boot lid and a few lotus experts led them to find that it was indeed a IIRC one of a kind car built by lotus in the mid seventies.

It's always a man and the same woman in it - it's been in st neots centre, the carpark, the sports centre - I wonder if they didn't work as whenever I went out - there it was (and it's not as if you can miss it). Seems to be in VGC though

I saw an SD1 in Cambridge last night
