Oh yes, it will be updated this week.

The filming was done by my mate Robin, who did an incredible job editting it to this result.

Eh, four guys on the front row of the grand stand had a WTF!-moment wink

That said, I know a thing or two about teams budgets now . . .

We had fun times at Rogers paddock: Big Cheese means Da Boss.

More . . .

Let's move to Masters Sports Cars, on both Lola and Chevron Heritage soon:

Superb couple of cars: Osella 2 litre and 5 litre Lola beast.

Jon Minshaw in the wet.

Coming in from qualifying.

Resting.

More . . .

I think he is saying the GT40 runner are surprised to see the Plastic Blackpool Bullet at the front of the grid smile

You mean that the biggest budget doesn't automatically buy you the right to be at the front?
Surely that can't by allowed.

The S/H Blackpool Rocket is quite a car, not shy of a tight budget.

They had to retire this year, only 49 laps. But hey: 2:54 best time is Cobra quality! and better than HEM6. GT40s are a fews secs quicker . . .

More Sports Cars, Chevrons are my favourites: beautifull lines, superb angry four pot soundbyte and mega agile.

B16 yum.

Quickest B16 of the bunch came in 7th.

Quickest Chevron was a B6 (differs not much from a B8). I expect this to have a Beemer in.

B16 in combat with Oli Bryant, who sadly had to retire on the Eau Rouge hill later in the race.

Italian B16. Achingly pretty . . .

9th place for the Hodges Beemer powered B8. Think 230 brake.

More . . . let's pick up some 6 Hours beef.

I think, no rain the Green machine would have been 4th or 5th looking at the other (Blue 8th?) one and the fact Mark had not gotten in it yet.

Need a Grantura cracking the top 10 next year.

Back on 6 Hours track, Cobras:

The mighty Chiles / Ingram Cob (2:55).

Nasty dent there. Only a 50th place.

More Cobra . . .

Marc Devis working out in the Cobra: duct tape was his friend! Sadly a 69th place was all Marc could wrench out of his damaged beauty.

Marc did a 3:03 best lap, which was as quick as this Elan: 22 place for the Belgium Lotus.

1/100 secs here. No way I could manage shots like these in Portimao. It's cars like these that make one dream about historic racing . . .

More Cob . . .

Bet the Cobs were a handful on the wet track. Watching a driver controlling all that must have been a real treat.

And it is! Spa6 drivers are masters, they make it look easy.

At the point where I click the really hard work has been done. Keeping the line is the trick and it hardly goes wrong from there.

The hard part seems to be the turn in just after severe breaking.
