The colour looks very similar to BMC's Sandy Beige as used on Mk2 Mini saloons and Coopers (1967-69) or Antelope as used on Mk3 Cooper Ss (1970-71)
Or Ford's Sahara Beige which I was priviledged enough to have on a Mk1 Fiesta of '82(?) vintage. My 1975 Mk3 Cortina 2.0GT was Sahara Beige (in between the rust patches ) and it had a brown vinyl roof......

I seem to recall Fiat calling that Kent Green. My dad had a Supermirafiori in the same colour. You never had any problems finding it in a car park. Edited by Zener on Thursday 16th January 00:08

I reckon three little things put more of these off the road than anything else. The electric window relay – which is difficult to diagnose if you don't know the cars, but easy to fix; the cabin heater matrix, these split and are impossible to replace without dismantling the entire dashboard (bugger of a job); and the roof lining, which gradually descends onto your head, and is another awkward job. Apart from that they're indestructible.Yertis said:

And weak PAS pump seals spewing oil all over the V6 models cambelt use to have nightmares about heater matrix replacement on these (was a spoilt ex Honda tech) did two of the buggers supply pipes had de-laminated and collapsed/broken but compared to what I see nowadays no big deal , agree tough car and rot resisting , electric woes creep in with old age like most german stuff sadly Woody.GTJ said:
