Spotted this at South Mimms yesterday, and what appeared to be a 1930s Bentley (blower Bentley style) in lane three of the M25 round near Heathrow earlier on.

Perfect, full webasto and nicely used look. cool
at the starbucks drive thru but can't drive thru as no cupholders!!
I'd rather sit in the window and look at the car for 15 minutes rather than go through the drive through anyway biglaugh

Can't say I'm a fan of modern white SUV's but that is fab. I have memories of an early one on a family holiday in the mid 70's pulling all sorts of stuff out of Saundersfoot harbour slipway. That and the owners LED digital watch were just manna from heaven for a 7 year old.

"Can't say I'm a fan of modern SUv's but that is fab." The 'but' implies that the example which follows is an exception to the statement which precedes.

The Yellow one from Harry's Garage is the spit of one that lived not far from my Parents house. Can't remember what year that was.

Sorry, only got a B at GCE English Language, more of a Maths/Science strength. Out of interest, what is the correct word as opposed to 'but' ?

There is no right or wrong answer, but maybe "although" would feel a bit gentler than "but"?

Took my English Language GCE a year early and got an A - Maths didn't go quite as well!

Well, there isn't one really. The first part of your statement is actually irrelevant. wink
