Absolutely !
Makes the JFK conspiracy, grassy knoll, second gunman, missing bullet et al pale into insignificance for the research going into this.
One day the car will turn up at a car meet in a pub car park and the owner will be oblivious to the fuss !
Wouldn't that be something! ;-)Makes the JFK conspiracy, grassy knoll, second gunman, missing bullet et al pale into insignificance for the research going into this.

Does anyone know where we can find the latest instalments of the B72/StrongComputer (aka Sorted, 3DEngineers) ‘discussion’?
I was enjoying the retrorides thread and we were promised some sort of showdown on Tuesday involving irrefutable evidence but unfortunately the RR thread was locked (boo).
Despite some of the attitudes involved, I do still enjoy the discussion.

So sad...
Was it to be some sort of Sunbeam I wonder?
I'm not convinced by that theory.

Here are the scans as promised.
I actually cut the image out of my book so as to scan it!
These are 1200 DPI 8000x6304 pixel images.
One with a vertical ruler, another with horizontal ruler and a plain image. All around 144Mb in size.
Excellent, thanks.....I actually cut the image out of my book so as to scan it!

Are the wheelarches on the rendered car a different shape to the original photo?
I'll not screen grab the image just in case somebody objects.

I’d love to know where that photo came from, but it’s clearly been edited (crudely).
As for “our” mystery car, my original print run copy of the book arrived the other day.
I’ve yet to fully analyse the image in the flesh, but already more detail is apparent. I’m more convinced than not that this car was real, FWIW.

The car was built between 1961 and 1962. I was built very quickly I hasten to add, by a guy called Clive Bowers.
The story of the car’s origin stems from their obsession with the RAF. In those days you couldn’t just buy a private registration number off the internet, so when Clive’s dad saw a virtually worthless old car for sale with the registration number RAF 33, he bought it. It was a decrepit Ford 7Y, which was subsequently parked up somewhere at the family home, which was a smallholding, hence no shortage of space and pretty much forgotten about.
A bigger help may be the registration number of the car, which was definitely RAF 33 and would have shown up as a Ford.

Are these posts coming from threespires' account actually coming from him, as they don't sound like the man I know?
I've e-mailed him, and had no reply so I'm not even sure he's even on his computer whilst this is going on.
Yes Borrani, we have emailed. Sorry, did I miss a message from you? I've e-mailed him, and had no reply so I'm not even sure he's even on his computer whilst this is going on.
And yes, posted earlier but my message was removed, presumably because I showed the senders details.

Hi threespires,
thanks for the e-mail.
I don't recall you saying anything derogatory about anybody, ever!
The strongest statement I recall you making is that you didn't subscribe to the ******* ****** theory. I don't believe that there is any law against having an opinion.
I've been accused of copyright infringement and of plagiarism by, I believe, the same person, but when I challenged this, he did not (could not) provide any evidence.
I would suggets you e-mail him directly (so as to have a record of what has been said) and ask for details of exactly what he believes you have done or said that he has an issue with, assuming the message is indeed from him.
