Classics left to die/rotting pics - Vol 2

Sorry about the images! Here's another
In my defence the "quoted" picture was the only one that worked and the forks, front end and shocks look identical to the Honda CD.
It is obviously wrong however so I shall go self-flagellate myself forthwith.

Not a classic in most peoples eyes, but I came across this poor MG Metro near Weston Park in Shropshire.
Looks like some ones pride & joy & looks to have been stolen & torched.
All the work to keep it on the road & judging by the alloys it has been cherished.
I may be wrong & it could have combusted accidentally, but where it was looks unlikely.......
Anybody in the Shropshire/Staffordshire area missing one of these?.

I reckon hidethelephants is correct - Riley RME.Several cars of the period had the lip around the edge of the front wings and the faired in headlamp pods (Morris Twelve Series 2 etc).
But the banana shaped sidelight on the wing top say Riley RME to me - although a lot of RME's have different sidelights....

I know France is France and this sort of thing isn't uncommon but this is a field behind a workshop about ten minutes from where I live. There are some interesting Opels I couldn't get close to and, unbelievably, an intact 1950s Limoges trolleybus. Goodness knows how or why it got there. First car I ever drove, a Simca Aronde...
Always thought a Traction-Avant would make a great hotrod with the '34 Ford look and it being low and wide. Adapt an L98 Corvette frame and running gear and you have a blisteringly fast hotrod that handles and stops with 35+mpg..This is probably the best effort I've seen.
