as mine had the twr wheels originally then I'll wait and look out for some or see if I can persuade the previous owner to let me have the originals at sensible money
still havent decided finally on selling it ..as you say to reach its full potenital value it'll need every detail right which I'm happy enough to try and do but on the other hand I could try to just get it nearly right and then enjoy using it ...so long as its reasonably reliable going forward ...
talking of details have we got a definiteve answer on the bonnet lettering ? ...Famous four told me that they had a 90 Trocadero Red one at their place and it had the silver letters but then some on here say it should be the grey transfers whose right ?
I see kingsley have got a restored 94 in at £49,950 makes mine seem cheap !!

I have a project 1993 Range Rover which has been sitting around and needs newer tyres all round. Does anyone have an recommendations on the largest size that needs little to no work to fit? I have a set of modulars fitted with 265/75/16s but I seem to gather these will need a 2" lift at minimum. Also 235/85/16s probably aren't a straight fit either from what I've gathered...

235/70/16 is a straight fit onto the original rims and don't need any suspension/steering tweaks.
It's also only 1mm bigger in diameter than the original 205/80/16.

Is the C pillar the rearmost one? If so, what's the passenger door frame called; is that a pillar? I've always assumed A is the windscreen, B the door frame post between driver and rear passenger door, and C the one behind that, but the pictures of the RR seem to show 4 'pillars'. Am I just being thick?

It’s a D pillar.

Yes, I suppose on a 4/5 door estate type body there are four pillars aren’t there? So D is a better description in this instance.

Alternatively it’s the one with the fart flaps in!

Are they the ones fitted to the mid 90s Autobiography?

I never really pay any attention to wheels but after 30 years of Rostyles and three spokes Rangies seemed to go crazy in the final years by comparison when it came to alloys. There was a 5 spoke that appeared on the CSKs then another (possibly the same) on later Vogues. The cyclones(?) on the LSE. And the Disco wheels do seem to appear on Rangies as well.

not the wheels you are after but would probably look good, allow wider tyres and at £125 each fully refurbed, i'd say thats quite good value. no affiliation!

Not that it really matters, but I’m sure they were only factory fitted by LR to Range Rover Classics and Defenders.

The Discovery wheel that’s similar is the freestyle...

Also fitted to Defenders.
