A rare sight now - friend owned a 105, then a 130 before getting into Delta HFs

Aaargh! The nightmares return! My old man had about 3 of those from new in a row, followed by a Polonez....

Truly horrid things - the bright yellow MF20 I drove for work for a while was a -much- more enjoyable drive driving

To be fair though, the old man has never been into cars as anything other than a means to get from A to B. The first motor I remember him having was a sit up and beg Ford Pop, over half a century ago, and with the Corsa he's got now it took him a year to discover it had heated seats and steering wheel!

Can't complain too much though, I learnt to drive in his L-reg Mk1 Escort, trouble is, it was an 1100L, not anything with horses (plural) under the bonnet biggrin

I remember thinking that Fiat X1/9's looked sooooooooooo exotic when I was younger.
The advertising must have worked since I have owned 3 of them.

Nice. Bet that was a good looking motor in white. Amazing £9.88 for the fuel. Poor that a major manufacurer had so little faith in its rust protection that it sold undersealing from new. Oh the days of rampant rust smile
