Pictures of your Classic in Action

Hi Gents - was I excited or was I excited?
Smile still hasn't left my face .... has to have been one of the best days of my life so far. To share tarmac with cars such as the D-Type which came second at Le Mans in the year I was born (1957), a real C-Type, the very E-Type coupe which was on the stand at Geneva in 1961 and other classic Jags - as well as examples of the cars the XJ13 was meant to square up to in 1966, including a mini-armada of GT40s, made it a day I will never forget.

Write-up here ... "Lucky Number 13"
I am also excited that the car has been short-listed as Car of the Year at the forthcoming International Historic Motoring Awards held in London. I will be there with my knees a-knocking and with the car on the 17th Nov - wish me luck!

Sorry to derail the thread but I have always wondered this: Where do I go to do this sort of thing and what is it called? I know this is a photo from the Berwick classic, but is it a rally or a trial or what? Also how do they work and how competitive are they? I would be really interested in doing something like this but to be honest I'm not really sure what they are/how they work. My car is very ropey and I have never driven anywhere but a public road, can anyone recommend anything?
I've had a look but all I can find are events that seem to be mostly on public roads for immaculate cars, either that or banger rallies, maybe me and my MG would fit in better there
