Put that in the period looking thread. Do not spoil this one with amateurish fakes.
You clearly miss the point entirely!williamp said:

The Byke next to the Pennant-----isn't that an NSU Supermax?
Yep, I think so.And this one is a pre unit BSA. Probably a 650 A10, but could be a 500 A7.
My first road bike was a 1959 BSA Shooting Star and it was a lovely smooth machine compared to the 750 Bonnies that I seem to have ended up with.

Here are a few old period pics where cars have sneaked into the background.
Old Zodiac on neighbour's wedding day, circa 1972.

Not sure if that's a Commer or a Transit. In any event, I'm in the shorts. I think that's a can of Strike Cola in the big lad's hand.

Me, sulking. Another Zodiac. Loads of nice sharp edges on the Tonka.

Yet another bleeding Zodiac. Me on the left.

That's me on the right on the Raleigh Tomahawk. Dad's big VX behind.

Much more recent. This is 1999 and I have a very big grin on my face.

Seems like there has been some sort of problem viewing this page, so a possible bump may well help sort it out. ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Anyway, we've been short of pictures for ages...

Pat H...Your Dad must have had a good job to get a Zodiac and not even a white one but in Silver Fox metallic! I expect you remember sliding about on the black buttoned leather upholstery peering over the dashboard down that aircraft runway bonnet. I remember being really impressed by a line of four Mark IV Zephry's being driven along the Bath Road in Bristol just a few days before the official launch. I really liked that rear light grille...well in 1966 I did!
