its a suzuki from around 2000 as featured in the game Granturismo Concept. I don't have the game anymore and since we cant us google i cant remember the model number, although it was definitely a number and letter. 3-D or something like that. (it was twenty years ago)
C2. Had a 1.6 32-valve twin turbo V8, RWD. I used to sell Suzukis and there was always mention of this in the wings but never very much material about it back then (2008ish). Car dates from earlier, c2000 I think.Edited by Turbobanana on Tuesday 26th May 08:52

Yes, you have it, Suzuki C2 from the mid 90s in fact. It was first shown at Frankfurt and was allegedly to be fitted with a twin turbo 2.5 litre V8 developing 250bhp. By the time it was said to be production ready this had become a NA 1.6 litre dohc V6 developing 140bhp iirc, the engine was a joint project with Mazda and Toyota and after the C2 was cancelled it was put into the Vitara, a terrible waste of a good engine!
Looks tiny, but when you see it with people around for reference, it's bigger than it looks. The V6 fitted to the Vitara was the 2.5, which actually made it go quite well. Not too silly on fuel either. The problem with Suzuki back then was that they weren't very brave. A lot changed with the introduction of the 2005 Swift, which seemed to give them confidence. The headlight treatment on this C2 seems to have influenced the current Swift.

My mind's gone blank on that sports car. I'm sure it's a Falcon Caribbean shell with a DKW motor, but can't remember what it is!
Not a DKW engine, although there is a Panhard connection. This has a 700cc flat twin, but 4-stroke. Bodywork is not Falcon, but is fibreglass.Unlike Dominic I think I'll stick to the rules - but yes the car is of Polish origin.
It is so sad that so many of these cars died at the concept/prototype stage. Talking of Poles ex MIG designer Zdislaw Teofil Marzewski penned this gorgeous V8 powered car for AC in 1962. It was due to enter production in 1963 but I think they were too busy lining their pockets with Cobra money.
..and yes, after a couple of beers you could mistake it for an S series TVR - but without Sherpa van front indicators.
Incidentally, speaking of TVR, AC seem to have done a touch of parts bin - raiding. Surely that's a Series 1 E type windscreen ??

Even easier to mistake it for the AC Frua 428, which was put into production in both convertible and coupe form, from 1965-73:...after a couple of beers you could mistake it for an S series TVR
I wonder why they decided to go with the Frua design, instead of their own, in-house attempt, given that they are visually so similar?
