Does someone want to name the car who hasn't Googled it? We've stalled.
It's an FSO Syrena Sport. You know, FSO, who went on to reach the giddy heights of... the Polonez.

Unlike Dominic I think I'll stick to the rules - but yes the car is of Polish origin.

It is so sad that so many of these cars died at the concept/prototype stage. Talking of Poles ex MIG designer Zdislaw Teofil Marzewski penned this gorgeous V8 powered car for AC in 1962. It was due to enter production in 1963 but I think they were too busy lining their pockets with Cobra money.

..and yes, after a couple of beers you could mistake it for an S series TVR - but without Sherpa van front indicators.

Incidentally, speaking of TVR, AC seem to have done a touch of parts bin - raiding. Surely that's a Series 1 E type windscreen ??

That's a lovely looking car. Does have Jensen Healey similarities.

I confess I googled. You don't need to be a genius to guess an Italian coach builder. Remarkable how so many of these concept/limited production cars are sheep in wolf's clothing.

One of my favourite never-made-it-to-production cars, but a sibling did go on sale and is the subject of a great Jay Leno video.

OK I know nothing about LSD induced 70's concept cars, so something a bit more 90's. What's going on here?

Yes, I wish they had made the Type-C. Still the version they did make (type-A?) has become so collectible they are really expensive.
