Some goodies from last sunday's Puur Porsche Treffen:

Ouch! Transaxle Porsche still is underrated, wether it be a 924, 944, 968 and even 928. They are a rare sight, even at a Porsche-only event. Some Einstein thought it would be handy to cluster these goodies.

I'm hardly familiar to all the modern (post-aircooled) cars and I don't known what I'm looking at. This looks the bizz though and I probably would have lots of fun getting it through its paces.

For me a G-modell is all there is to it. Just look at this 911 sitting there. Red cabrio in the back enhances today's theme.

Enjoy all the 165 pics here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Yes, rear track looks way too narrow, and it should have a pax door mirror and rear wiper too.

Looks like the rear wheels are the same as the front.

There can’t be many 200B coupes left anywhere in the world, and also dogleg box because sporty!

Spotted in Oxford Services yesterday. Also saw a relatively early silver 911 on the M40.

Off Topic - The colleague who introduced me to four wheel drive in the seventies had a Willys Jeep and a Land Rover. His wife had a Sunbeam Rapier like the one above. During the time we worked together there was a very cold spell with snow. He turned up in the Rapier. He wouldn't use the Jeep in poor weather and he didn't want his Land Rover damaged by numptys who couldn't drive in snow.

An August 2019 spot:

You gotta love this immaculate Jensen C-V8.

The interior... OMG, all new and a true palace. This car has won its prices.

Chrysler Hemi power is super smooth and no match for any other period Yank V8.

These things used to win national concourse events all over the place back in the 70s/80s. Lovely pictures Dink' but I've never understood the love for this car.

It's like the Daimler Dart's uglier sister.

It's a funny looking old bird but has a very definite "presence". It also stands up to close inspection of the rather good detailing.

Concours grr.

A concourse is a large open area in or in front of a building.
