Driving between Honiton and Exeter a couple of hours ago I saw a dark metallic blue Marcos Mantara on a trailer and not 10 seconds later an immaculate looking mid blue E9 BMW coupe went past. I wonder which is actually more scarce although it would be the BMW, hands down, that I'd choose.

Richmond (North Yorks) Nissan S Cargo, unusual colour and after market wheels. Looks to be sitting low at the back so it may be earning its keep? I've always liked these, proper quirky like only the Japanese can do nowadays. I have no use for one and no desire to own one but I love the way they look and seeing it on a grey November day made me smile.

Look at that intercooler, I reckon there's more to that than just the wheels and a bright colour.

Still looking for some airtight documented proof. Maybe someone else will find something.

Sat behind this today, must have been years since last seeing a 164.

Made me think back to a brief period in my life where I really wanted one of these. confused

I won one en eBay once, a tidy looking 2.0 Super. I was the only bidder at the £650 starting price after it had been through one auction and failed to sell. The seller refused to sell to me because I had to withdraw the money from my PayPal account and it would take 2 days to get it. He claimed I was not in a position to buy. I claimed seller's remorse, and he went quiet - especially once I pointed out the slight damage and superficial rust he'd "forgotten" to list first time round.

Still a bit gutted I missed it, but I bought an excellent Ford Cougar instead.

OK, so I appreciate this may not be a classic, but I can’t remember the last time I saw one.
