That GT6 looks nice, but I don't remember them having bonnet louvres though. Perhaps there is something other that a straight six under the bonnet?

I was looking at a photo of a US-spec GT6 and that has the louvres on the top and side of the bonnet like that one.

One rotting away not far from for a few years. That was in Lee Green.

Side louvres standard on GT6 mk2, pretty sure top louvres not original but I can certainly understand why you might add them.

I know the ageing feeling!

Back in 1978 my mother was looking for a new car to replace her 1975 Fiat 128 1300 Estate (she had a 1971 127 and a 1967 600 previously).

We both had a test drive in a 127 Sport (about £2,400 IIRC) and a 128 3P that was about £2,700 - she bought a Fiesta 1.1S for about £3K. eek

Wouldn't have been my choice! laugh

A few recent treats - the first two in Newlyn and Mousehole, Cornwall, and the second two in West Hampstead, London.

Excellent condition, and only 17,000 miles!

Beautiful, but naughty naughty, expired MOT since April.

Gorgeous looking, tucked into a garden, almost walked right by it.

I've walked by this Bentley occasionally for several years, first time I've seen it uncovered. Absolutely perfect condition. Only 62,500 miles, and only 4,000 since 2006.

I had a 127 GT in black on a Y plate. 1300cc with the new 5 speed box.

Sticks.

Your dad having had one doesn't make you old. I had two, that makes me old. An 82 1050 cl, 4 speed, and a 84 1050 Super, 5 speed, which was much better. Lots of fun to drive, economical, but rusted, obviously.
