Not taxed for 24 years!!!
Would Kleber tyres have been original kit for those? Maybe it didn't make it past it's first booties.
The first gen A1 rally cars carried Kleber sponsorship, so perhaps.

Where is this quattro?
This is in the Leicestershire. The owner has had 10's of offers for it over the years but refuses to sell it!

They'll have a few nasty surprises if when they ever decide to "do it up".

I love Quattros, but by God are they ever money-pits. rolleyes

Must be worth a smallish fortune as a collection of parts given scarcity of supply on the Q.

As an ex WR/MB mongrel of a UR I can fully validate that statement!!

Worst thing about this is Audi's stubborn refusal to make any parts for this car or support it in any way despite the lions share of their marketing leveraging off of the cars rally success.

It's created a massively overpriced spares market. I, as most owners did, hoarded any and all parts that cropped up in the usual places and was the main reason for me selling up.

But by christ I want another one even though I know I've got the rosiest of rose tinted glasses on!

They are Talbot Horizon rear lamps, with custom lenses, as stated above.

No! Rover 800. Clothed as it is mid afternoon and working.
You might be correct.

I mean if they didn't have the same three screws in the same location holding the lens on...

...and if they didn't have the clusters segmented exactly the same...

...and if they didn't have the number plate lamp in the same shape and position...

...and even if they weren't made by the same manufacturer, then you might be correct that they time travelled a Rover 800 seven years into the past, then redesigned the tail lamps to look surprisingly similar to an existing model that they made.

But you're not.

This just appeared on a P5 facebook group, kept in the same family since new, an early P5B Coupe in Warrington looking for a new home, looks bad but I think it could be salvageable...

Highly suspect that'll go on Ebay then eventually surface on a banger track, probably one of the big meetings as you don't see many races now. I sincerely hope the Mk1 Sweeney Grandad doesn't suffer the same fate, Johnny Smith said recently that they & Mk2's are the most stolen classics.

Take the £15'000 a good running P5B costs, subtract the £20'000+ a basic restoration costs and............

There will be rigger boots in this car's future. Pity.

This place is near me. When he next advertises logs for sale, I must get a closer look. What's the blue one? TVR?
