I think so Dicky yes, a few seconds later it overtook us making a wonderful noise!

Some more from Bicester, never been before and was chuffed at the variety of stuff on show, a really good mix of the exotic and the everyday...

We were on a campsite in France on 1st August 1996, the day the P reg was first issued. There was a bloke with such a Montego, whose numberplate he'd carefully modded with black tape overnight from an F to a P. Even at less than 10 years old it was rather grubby and a bit rusty.

Beautiful aren't they.... there was another one there yesterday but I'm unable to upload any more pics at the moment, another UK registered RHD example but in burgundy.

The GK has so much class (except when it has the dreaded original dashboard covering), I dribbled when I saw the Ginetta.

Couple from the last few days. The nicer weather always brings them out.

Nice old 518.

Saw something similar over the weekend, this one was a 525i. They're handsome cars.

This interesting little Pembleton took my fancy at Brands Hatch yesterday while watching the 2cv racing

They weren’t doing much to help shake their reputation for the odd roll smile

Very nice indeed. Would possibly look better lowered an inch or so.

Those 5-series BMWs could be picked up for not a long until just a few years ago I remember. I'm afraid to go and look at any for sale now, I think the prices would frighten me a bit.

Looking at the MoT history of that red one i saw - it looks to have only come back on the road in the last year or so having been off the road for 4-5 years after an MoT failure due to body corrosion. Certainly looks nice now.

Just after I took the fore and aft shots a voice said, "You're taking photos of my car." I had to admit I was. The lovely lady owner said she bought the car when it was a year old and until recently it was her daily transport. Following a valuation though, it is now to be used just in the summer. Could I look inside? Could I look at the engine? What a lovely lady.
