Tis indeed. Since lockdown started I've taken to doing a morning run and usually take a random route around Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Highgate, Finchley etc - the amount of 1) tasty motors and 2) classics left to die tucked away is amazing. Often just boring old stuff no-one will care about, but occasionally there are some pop up headlights, period wires or quad exhausts poking out from under a tarp....

Oh dear. One for the naff registrations thread.
That's OK. A bit of creativity is a good thing.Oh, and it's illegal rather than creative.

I don't think there can be many TVRs without a 'TVR' plate
I think that's because "VR" is a Manchester registration, reasonably local to Blackpool.LotusOmega375D said:
Cool spots. We had an identical TR6, GHL130L about 30 years ago.
Also that 250SWB is an original, chassis number 3657GT. Worth a fortune!
Thanks for the info. The TR6 was in Maidenhead. It looked lovely but some of the chrome had a light dusting of brown on it. Needs caring for before it starts heading downhill. The Ferrari was stopped outside a garden centre between Bisham Abbey and Temple on the Thames near Marlow. I rode past it and the driver was trying to start it with no joy. I pulled in to the entrance of the garden centre to check my map and eat something from my pocket (60 mile bike ride going on). Eventually he gave up trying to start it, dropped the bonnet, and wandered in to the garden centre to ask if he could get some help to push the car in off the road. the chap in the garden centre was happy to oblige. I'd have offered my help too, but I was already way over my allotted time on the bike and struggling to work out how to get out of Temple without having to ride on the A404, but a bridleway alongside the dual carriageway came to my rescue! Also that 250SWB is an original, chassis number 3657GT. Worth a fortune!
