Porsche built a prototype in 1988 but it never made production. It has the US style small rear number plates and bumper rubbers so perhaps it was built to test US market reaction which one would assume was only luke warm?Note the open headrests and the seat belts built into the seat frame a la R129 Merc SL

saw a very nice silver-ish Fiat coupe parking in front of my house today, looked still very good, such a nice shape, timeless design, sadly they are FWD but it has the looks and cheap, some little kids walked buy and I heard them shout, look a Ferrari hahah, the older one said, its not a Ferrari, then that other oy walked up close and said, it says Fiat :-) anyhow, its Italian.
I did not made a picture, but you know, looks like this example.

Saw an 'N' reg' yellow one on a low loader last Friday heading north on the M1, it was in very good nick and didn't look at all dated.I did not made a picture, but you know, looks like this example.
A trip to Barnard Castle (insert eye test joke here) and a few classics to be seen. A pair of Bond Bugs, an '88 Nissan Bluebird, a Morris 1000 and a few others all escaped the lens, this little fellow did not...
Some details that I think are wrong, including the headlight visor (such fripperies surely would not appear on a workhorse?) but lovely and clean and real kudos points for resisting the temptation of fitting alloys.

We've just driven back from Abbotsbury and in the distance of 60 odd miles I've seen dozens of eye catching or noteworthy older cars. I can't remember all of them but the highlights were a very nice looking metallic green R reg Lancia Beta coupe, a white Cortina convertible with the green Lotus flashes down the sides (didn't look as naff as it sounds), a black MGA coupe and a 308 GTS Ferrari. No pics coz driving but it really added to an already nice drive.
My gf did manage a picture of this at Abbotsbury. Any ideas what it be?
