Purely by chance I found my old Moonstone / Silver cars paperwork last night !
It’s reg number is URY 654X
It was sold new to Benson Shoes LTD of Connaught Street, Leicester.
I sold it to someone from near Peterborough.
I’ve just been told that it was for sale about 3 years ago, sadly minus its engine and box and has been re painted white !
Anyone recognise it ??

.........one for the Seriously Overpriced thread I suspect but somehow I will be very surprised if it goes for that.
Still if it drags all the other survivors up in value with it then I'm not complaining.
Yep, that other low mileage one went for £52k-ish a year+ ago, so I agree 65k is very optimistic in my view, however, what is being asked, and what the owner is realistically expecting or willing to take is another matter.Still if it drags all the other survivors up in value with it then I'm not complaining.
What's all this crap about ASOC on their page giving it large about them being the original and best club for the Sunbeam-Lotus...

It's a never ending saga of animosity between the two clubs. I have my views on what's going on but prefer to stay out of it on a public forum. What's all this crap about ASOC on their page giving it large about them being the original and best club for the Sunbeam-Lotus...

Still in light of 50Y coming onto the market several other short term owners have expressed the possibility of selling their cars on the Facebook Sunbeam enthusiasts page in the hope of quick profit.

Well......the original club for the Sunbeam-Lotus was neither of them, as it was the Sunbeam Register of Club Lotus, so ASOC should stfu....
If anyone sould know it would be you. There really is no need for any attitude between two like minded clubs, and its depressing to such blatant arseyness posted by current ASOC officials.

This month's Classic Cars mag has a feature on smart buys for 2021 and features the Sunbeam Lotus with some pictures of a car aeropilot knows quite well. ![](https://thumbsnap.com/sc/ujSmu9cj.jpg)

If so, its not been driven anywhere in that time as the mileage is still the same (or the speedo cable has been disconnected when it has been driven)
