There was a (rarely specced) factory metal sunroof on the Mk2, it might be one, the aftermarket ones tend to be a lot bigger. The steering wheel, I can't tell could be a period accessory, the seats might be out of an XJ6? TR4man said:
I did wonder if the sunroof was OEM, that’s why I took the photo as I knew someone on here would know. But certainly it did look small in comparison to the larger sunroofs that we are now used to.
A bit O/T. I was surprised when a friend had a Webasto fitted to his Wolseley 6/110 but it was an option at the time apparently. A993LAD said:
2 nice cars spotted in a sussex car park today. Matching colours too. Nice to see them out and about on a showery day.
Lovely to see.Can I just suggest that you try turning your phone through 90 degrees and take the shot in landscape to better frame the car. It's just an annoyance of mine, phones have brilliant cameras on them nowadays and those shots should capture the whole of the cars. Not just you it seems to be endemic when you see someone filming anything on their phones. Grrrr. Carry on.

I agree but also admit to be guilty of it myself. I think because phones are designed to be mainly used portrait, and also the bloody things are so slippery that when I do remember to turn mine through 90 degrees I tend to nearly drop it, and get all sweary. Can I just suggest that you try turning your phone through 90 degrees and take the shot in landscape to better frame the car. Indeed me too. And normally I would have done just that. But both cars were in tight parking slots with less exciting motors right alongside so portrait seemed the best way to frame the spotted classics. Can I just suggest that you try turning your phone through 90 degrees and take the shot in landscape to better frame the car. Spotted several times in recent weeks in the industrial estate beside the railway just south of Bedford station - a silver G plate 1989 / 90 Audi 100, looking very lithe and handsome.
They are handsome cars. I had a 100 saloon and then a touring of that vintage, both high-milers and both entirely problem-free. They followed a billy-basic 80 which was brilliant. I haven't had an Audi since now I come to think about it. First weekend of freedom for Melbourne residents for a few weeks and some of them were taking advantage of the reasonable weather.
AMOC must have been out for lunch. There were a load of modern ones plus this lot
A Virage
2 DBS
And just one DB5
Commer van (currently for sale for $20k)
I'm not a huge fan of Mustangs, but this looked just right to me.
