Outside my work the other day! Just pulled up on the industrial estate, think the driver was taking a break! Expensive truck load! 3 Lagondas and a Bentley (I think) seen in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
On their way to the start of the Flying Scotsman Rally, which seems to have developed into some sort of Classic Car Dealer jolly, if you look at the entry list ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

Mmmm, very nice.
Is it me, or does anyone else think the wheels look (too) small?
The high profile tyres fill the arches enough, but the wheel itself looks small thanks to the modern obsession with size apparently mattering. However, I don't think it looks too small, just in keeping with the period of the car.Is it me, or does anyone else think the wheels look (too) small?

I can't remember the last time I saw one of these. Top of the range 16TX, with quad headlights, velour seats and sports wheels.
Man, I love those things - there's just something about 70s Renaults that I really like. You're right though, I haven't seen a 16 (or a 14, 15, 17 or 18) in over ten years.jamies30 said:

I was there yesterday too and drooled over the Alfa.
3 hours of searching for photos online, when we got home, drew a blank ( I had no means of capturing a photo !! ).
It looked fantastic.
