God, the Virage is still an ugly sow of a car, decades later.
Have to agree. I’m not a particular fan of the DBS either. Now the DB5 on the other hand… cloud9

I'm the opposite. Love the DBS, have always thought the DB5 a bit meh!

I'm not a huge fan of Mustangs, but this looked just right to me.
That bonnet bulge, combined with the kick up in the waistline behind the door, make it look like its back's broken.

That's a massive sunroof on the DBS V8. Were Webastos a factory option?

First weekend of freedom for Melbourne residents for a few weeks and some of them were taking advantage of the reasonable weather.

AMOC must have been out for lunch. There were a load of modern ones plus this lot

A Virage

I thought that might be this one: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... but it seems there are at least two bright red Virages down under.

Spotted several times in recent weeks in the industrial estate beside the railway just south of Bedford station - a silver G plate 1989 / 90 Audi 100, looking very lithe and handsome.
They are handsome cars. I had a 100 saloon and then a touring of that vintage, both high-milers and both entirely problem-free. They followed a billy-basic 80 which was brilliant. I haven't had an Audi since now I come to think about it.
It really stood out from the line of Mercs and BMWs it was sat in. There's a white one in daily use which lives just down the road from me, it's been with the same owner since new in '91.

Spotted in the station car park at Bedford on Friday - a red and white Rover Mini Cooper with the huge 'sportspack' wheel arches but with 10''x6'' alloys rather than the standard 13'' type.

I know! I feel like burning myself at the stake.

But it's true. The DBS is all delicious muscle car goodness, and the DB5 is all old man colostomy bag. Sorry.

Lovely little bit of Gallic goodness.

S

That may be the ugliest car I have ever seen. I think I'd honestly rather drive that Pontiac abortion from Breaking Bad.

My eyes. My poor eyes. It makes that Virage I lambasted before look like a 250 GTO.

Red wouldn't be my first choice, but I quite like the Virage generally. DB4 is great, DB5 and 6 decreasingly so, and the DBS is great again.

I'd rather had that than the red abomination At least it's the one they made to look like a Vantage.

I'd wear sunglasses to deal with the interior. Even at night.

ETA. I really like that pink V550. Needs gunmetal/black wheels and then I would. Like getti g involved with that much older lady when I was 18 - wrong, bit it would feel so right.

I'd wear a rubber mask whilst driving so no one knew it was me, but inside, I would absolutely love it.

I seem to remember that this was ordered by a famous female star of "gentlemen's interest" short films.
However, I am not about to try googling that to check.

TBH the 250 GTO isn’t all that, to look at. IMO.
