the "valvers" are the name given to the Gt-BX's, the Xantia is a V6.3ltr Activa

Not sure I'd describe them as "nice"! - They look pretty awful to Me TBH!
awful.....why ? What is wrong with a valver BX ?
The set-square styling for a start off!

Strangely enough, coming from France the BX lacks any kind of flair to its design, it's all sharp angles.

Considering that Citroen came out with the Traction Avant and the DS in the past, both of which were very stylish designs, the BX was a design let down as far as I'm concerned.

You like them and that's good for you, for Myself personally, the BX has never struck Me as being either an attractive design or a particularly nice car.

if thats a Xantia Activa - then fair enough. Very cool suspension on those and largely unknown about, mostly under-rated.

BX (allderivatives) and Xantia both very cool cars - 4rep is talking nonsense (IMO).

my dad had a couple of xantia activa as company cars. Quite fast for the time, comfy and the self-levelling suspension (over the 'normal' hydropneumatic) was indeed pretty weird and interesting technology. I thought the activa was a 2.0 turbo?

I thought a "valver" was a Mk1 Renault Clio 16V. Never heard that name applied to a Citroen.

Yesterday at Stourhead.

How on earth have we got to Monday night without anyone commenting on this?

GREAT SPOT! Anyone know more about the car?

Yesterday yielded a brace of TR8 (LHD coupe and RHD convertible), a Ferrari 575M and finally a Citroen SM in the space of about 10 miles between Northampton and Silverstone. No pics unfortunately - or probably fortunately for those driving close by!

Is probably my age, but the SM is the only one there that does anything for me.
