How about a 'period' classics pictures thread
Discussion
Scanning in my mum's photos - I think she may have had mild petrolhead tendencies...
Glyndebourne 1965 - A Jag of some sort and a Vauxhall (?)
A broken-down bus somewhere in Turkey in 1965 (major kudos if anyone can identify the bus)
She and her friend decided to drive across North Africa in a Mini Moke - this is Libya in 1966 (God knows how they managed to bring their dog!)
Domesticity begins - a Mini, the in-laws and my father. The photo is captioned PTB 678G if anyone wants to find out if its still about.
Can't quite decide if this photo is supposed to be of their friend, their Rover or their friends' house. Anyway its a P6 in the mid-seventies so it counts.
Yours truly and the first of several Citron GS's in around 1979, this one was an estate and followed a short-lived series of Austin 1300s. Don't know why I'm in a life-jacket, its at least a mile to the sea, perhaps its something to do with the quality of the Citroen's ride?

We lived in Izmir in the early 1970s so had my father still been with us, he could probably have identified the dolmus/bus!

I thought we had a contender for the "another what car?" thread there for a minute. Still, just goes to show how many strange and unusual things were being built and makes it even more likely it might turn out to be a one-off. Unless the above is something really famous and I've just destroyed what little car-cred I might once have had.droopsnoot said:

The other 2 exist in perilous states of dilapidation with "enthusiasts" who would rather they rotted than sell them.
