I may be wrong, but wasn't it John Wyer's team that sorted the handling, not Porsche themselves?(story here https://www.racingarchives.org/blogpost/a-truly-se...

I've posted some of these 917 pictures from the Porsche temporary workshop at Teloche during the LeMans prep before, but work another look I think.
It must have been amazing to have been there to see all these cars and take those pictures. You have a very valuable copyrighted archive. These sights will never be seen again!! 2020 vs 1975

I'd say BMW 700 Coupe in the bottom of the ravine.
Alfa 1900 on top if it.
No clue on the largest one - No 60.
Vauxhall Wyvern maybe..?Alfa 1900 on top if it.
No clue on the largest one - No 60.

I can remember going to this with my Dad.
Yeah, would have been there with my dad too. Think that was the year he thought about something a bit sporty, he really liked a silver 1602 BMW we all sat in. I willed him to get it, but he went on to get a GS estate. The days of coming home with carrier bags stuffed with brochures, badges, stickers and all sorts.
