Indeed, we chatted about Mehere's car a page or two back. It fooled me too but it's got an earlier rad.
p.s. 65mph Alec? That's clipping along nicely. I've only had mine up to 55/60 and that's approx 3,000 revs. I'm a bit nervous exceeding that.
p.s. had mine at a Goodwood Breakfast Club a while back. Nice drive out...
65 seems to be the sweet spot. I have just had the Mag reconditioned and she sings. There are no vibrations, a balanced tune and still plenty of pull on inclines. there is so much torque in 4th from 20 - 60+. I am rarely going through the gears. Wished it would stop a little more convincingly though. I am running to the FoS early Sat morning through London in the sleepy hours. I hope to be at Uppark too. will you be there? Would be very nice to see your beauty up close.

I was considering buying this for a trip to the Lake District as my little roadster feels lacking in creature comforts at times... on further investigation it appeared that the little roadster may be the more comfortable of the two! Still fancied it tho' - have fun... Speed 3 said:

on the contrary, Sir - they are all loved, appreciated classics and we are all [enthusiasts] in the same boat.... so it is certainly in the same league...Although it's not in the same league as most of the classics on here.

I had a Golf Clipper (that looks like a GTI)!
I absolutely loved it!!
It's a GTi Rivage, one of the last MK1 Cabriolets and the only MK1 to come with Leather from the factory, one of 252 original cars. I love it, keep toying with selling it but I know i'll struggle getting anything as nice for the money. I absolutely loved it!!
