I would say so, for 1976 timeline.

Most Toyota plants outside of Japan were only building for their local markets at that time.

I think some Aussie made Mitsubishi's were exported to USA in the late 70's though......??

Some Wiki digging suggests Plymouth Arrow, a Chrysler badged Mitsu Colt Celeste for the US market. Profile fits the coupe's in the pic that I originally posted.
