Think it’s going to take more than the Henry for me to get it through an MOT
Whizz it into to Blind Ken and It'll pass with flying colours.Probably not regarded as a classic, but there's an Audi A2 across the road from me.
It has a personalised reg, but has not had an MOT for over a year, and of course is neither taxed nor insured.
I know who the owner - I've been sorely tempted to offer to buy it and fix it up for myself.

I've seen this one quite a few times; today, I actually stopped to get a few pics.
Doesn't seem to have moved in 4 or 5 years; shame really, as they were cracking cars.

MOT only expired in September,
Doesn't look to do a lot of mileage between MOTS either, 2.2 145bhp version by the looks of it, with MOT maybe 8k if it needs fettled, 10k if it's drivable?
The decrepit A30 has gone from this bloke's front garden and been replaced by two Morris Minors, - one a pick-up without the rear body and also what looks like a 1300GT or similar ... not sure if it's an estate from memory. Could you get a 1300GT estate? Edit: google tells me it is not a GT - that had the double bars on the grille. Either a plain old 1100 or a 1300 Mk III (1971-74).

Certainly is, a very posh and desirable car in 1980.
The wife of our milkman had one in the same colour brand new, at a time when a milk round on an ever expanding new housing estate could bring untold riches. The milkman on an even bigger estate in an even bigger neighbouring city (Newcastle) had a Lotus Esprit Turbo and a matching Elite for the wife.
A truly great realm, where milkmen are held in high honour. The wife of our milkman had one in the same colour brand new, at a time when a milk round on an ever expanding new housing estate could bring untold riches. Held in high honour? Not really, you didn't get the point, they just earned a packet from some odd business arrangement that had almost total customer loyalty and assumed geographic business territory based on random urban growth. Well, I thought it was illogical anyway.
Works well for Council Tax...“Just keep approving those greenfield site housing estate planning applications, chaps. Who cares if the services we provide are insufficient to cope? It’s money for nothing!”

I wasn't really commenting on the commercials, I just happen to think doorstep milk delivery is very civilised. I insist on having it even though it's not the cheapest way to buy milk. I also suspect our current milkman of being a bit grumpy, but I'm a man of principle so will stick with it.
Also a fan of having milk delivered to the door step LetsTryAgain said:
