I think that’s a really crap number plate on that.
IMO, no,classic car should have a personalised plate. The original number is part of the cars history - and that’s coming from someone who’s had 2;model specific plates on modern cats smile
I really can’t imagine my 69 Cougar looking better with anything better than a standard plate.
You register your cats?
Only the ones he does unspeakable things with!

I thought I would add mine to the "plates" debate - I like it, and that's he important thing.

On the number plate themes, some one posted this on the Really Good Number Plates thread a few days ago:

Cheating a little as these were in a parade. But stumbled upon it and didn't expect to see any of these beauts.
Classic alfas, a TZ2, 6C 3000, and I believe a tipo P3? (Now have been corrected, it's a 8C Monza)

Brightened up a rainy NYC, and the noise when they opened them up was incredible.

All you have to do is ask : ) In my experience Bristol owners are usually quite happy to chat if you go and talk to them.

They are original VW 'bullet' indicators, available as a retrofit on cars 1955-1957 to supplement the semaphores.

The 1958 cars had the top wing mounted indicators, and semaphores were phased out in 1959.

This is a 1965 car, probably just had them retrofitted for a period look when the wings were replaced at some point during its life.

Three spotted while walking around Hampstead.

None is particularly special but it is good to see them in regular use.
