So this is cheating as its not really a spotted, rather my two 90s convertibles being taken out of storage for summer. Apologies, thread...but I'm a bit overexcited about driving these over the summer

One day I'm an architect...

... And the next I'm driving to an illegal rave to deal drugs.

I love both of those, particularly the Merc!

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the 90s, saw this Silver Spirit that looks like a daily - 2 kids seats in the back.

Amused by the cut glass crystal whisky tumbler in the centre console!

That is excellent!

Apologies for another gratuitous Merc pic, but roof down it's like some sort of 90s powerboat. So. Long.

Louche interior.

Fantastic shots there mate. I think I need to be looking into an addition to the garage. I had to swap my CL63AMG a few years ago due to dogs and a longer commute. But a 90’s or early 00’s AMG convertible would be nice.

Thanks! It's got a patchy history and 106k miles so will never be worth big money, so I have been searching for a 3.6 AMG engine to swap into it...its a straight swap for the 3.2 in mine. Originality be damned!

You should go for it. These old droptops give off such a lovely vibe, and put you in a great mood.

Was at my Saturday morning Porsche and coffee this morning, and there among the usual 911s and 356s was this lovely thing. A genuine Prisoner Lotus 7, the only one I have ever seen in Canada

Yes. The rear door is as long as the front door, on the standard the rear door is noticeably shorter than the front door.

Nice pair, the estate spoiled by having purple wheels …

This was mint, just spoilt by having that silver and black plate!
