Difficult to tell if it's a 401 or later 403. Looks like a very expensive restoration about to start.

Has that got dual ashtrays?
Yes - and they look like Innocenti items to me, I've got a couple in my Mini spares stash somewhere.
Different times smokin

I don't think my new-ish Audi even has an ashtray. The Quattro has a nice big one. The one on the TR is handy storage for the screws and washers that appear on the floor confused.

The gear lever looks identical to the one in my Aston. I guess they copied Aston, being even rarer smile Does it have the 5sp ZF with dog-leg first ?

Outside my local boozer on trade plates. Looks like an Edizione Finale to me but I'm no expert. Was immaculate.

Having driven but not owned RHD cars with the ZF dog-leg-first five speed gearbox and finding it cumbersome, driving a lefthand drive car with the same box was a revelation. The awkwardness of the gear change I found in RHD cars just disappeared. I see that it was designed for LHD cars but I was surprised what a difference it made. If you own one in RHD you probably get used to it.

Even after 10 years of ownership, the dog leg ZF in my Sunbeam still catches me out from time to time especially if I haven't driven it for a while.
