Too quick to grab a photo - just spotted a turquois '69 Mustang with a black vinyl roof wizz past our house.

Lovely old van.

Sadly a strong candidate for the PLAC Driver Of The Year award too.

ON a junction, obstructing the view of drivers exiting? Check.
Obstructing the full width of the FOOTway? Check.
Parked on double yellow lines? Check.

Yeah but, no but. Obviously laid in wait ready for a blag; there’ll be a sawn off hidden under a hessian sack on the bench seat, mark my words.

Expect a Consul and a Cortina to come screeching after a Mark 2 Jaguar beating a retreat somewhere in the vicinity any minute now.

I bet you could get a lot of film work with that.

Mind they'd have to get it mucky first, it looks improbably clean. Hiss boo for the dick parking.

I *think* they were getting something out of the house behind, there were people moving around in the doorway anyway. The house there dosn't really have any where to park either so I gave them the benefit of the doubt for having such a clean van!

Is that the car that wasn't for sale in the UK because of safety considerations?

Mini Moke good. Citroën Méhari bad. Perfidious Albion at work.

In Marlborough High St on Sunday. Both are local cars. I see the Spitfire frequently, the Challenger less often.

The Challenger was no looker. Its like a neon green canoe.

A rare occasion of the modern variant looking better than the classic.

I think they possibly look better in white, like Kowalski's in Vanishing Point. Still a cool muscle car, although I have always been more of a Charger fan, thanks to Bo and Luke Duke.

That's a minging looking MK1 Granada!

I've no idea how many MK1 and 2s I saw die in banger races in the late 80s/early 90s but that one definitely didn't deserve to survive. laugh
