I cannot remember when exactly [1989=ish I think] - or where. but I think it was Suffolk/Norfolk - I looked over a gate - and there this lot were..
the AC on the right is on DVLA - so it was saved, at least...
Yes, but the car in the photo is an AC 2-litre and it's on the DVLA database as 4.7 litres or, as our American chums call it, 289 cu in.the AC on the right is on DVLA - so it was saved, at least...
That sounds like a Cobra to me, so maybe they only saved the badge.

Ah yes - oh dear - it has become an 'original' Cobra no doubt - so this picture might not be appreciated =ho hoThat sounds like a Cobra to me, so maybe they only saved the badge.
PS - I wonder if that red AC has also "morphed"?

Ferrari Dino. Left to die and very rotting by the looks of it, but now available to save if you're brave!
Link to forthcoming auction for anyone that's interested.

oh, thats in a bad state...
the interior looks savable though, wonder how the engine is...
what would such be worth?
normally I guess 5.000 or so? but with prices so high for a good one even this wreck could be worth 20.000 perhaps?

Won't be much change from 100k I suspect.

Probably the only Ferrari I would like to own and being in Blue makes it better IMO. It'll probably cost £100-£150k to restore properly though... Link to forthcoming auction for anyone that's interested.

Same auction has a restored one for £180-220k (+commission) so not out of the question for someone...........Dino prices really have gone up recently and if they continue to do so then restoring that one may well be viable.

If body and chassis are really beyond saving there's always the plastic alternative
.................sorry i'll leave now.
p.s. I really hope it doesn't end up as a kit car donor.

AFAICR Fiat did a deal with the Russians to buy steel for it's cars, including Ferrari.
This "steel" was very poor quality and the new Dinos began rusting very quickly.
