Not sure if it counts as ‘cool’, but that’s the way to drive around central London

Edited to add that (being nosy) I looked this up on the MOT checker and it was MOT’d in February but at that time it had 321,000 miles!
Not that unusual - my coupe quattro was on almost 273k when it went off the road for me to fix the clutch and sort out the rust, and that was about 18 years ago.

Spotted in the train crew car park at Wembley depot this morning - a G reg 1989 / 90 Nissan Bluebird five door / hatchback. It looked like a cartoon car, something you’d see in The Simpsons. Remarkably small too!

The 948's are smashing little cars. Perfect daily drivers if not going far.

Is there a more ideal classic car? Minor or MGB the quintessential British classic.
Done the Minor thing, currently have a Mk1 (proper) Mini. Would love an MGB roadster.

I agree.

The thing about Minors is that they are so useful, cost peanuts to buy and run, highly depenadable, just kinda easy to live with. Perfect car.

Exactly, each of the Dodge's cylinders has almost the capacity of the entire Moggy engine!

Handsome 500SEC in very good nick spotted in London last week. I have a feeling I may have posted this before, last time I was working in that part of town a few years ago, but it's still a cool classic car spotted so you can have it again.

I see that all the time around Clerkenwell. Handsome indeed - I think that one has been lowered.

Or possibly just “settled”. That’s a lot of weight for springs to carry round. When I got my R129 it was on original springs, and was sitting lower than it would have done from new.

So would I. Such a happy smiley looking car. I'd accept a Mk11 Zodiac if offered.

Some owners clearly have absolute confidence in them. I just saw a split screen version come on to the Caen-Portsmouth ferry at the weekend, no show queen and fully under its own steam.
