A rather tidy looking TR7 though the replacement hood looks a little ill-fitting. Barnard Castle (Durham) a few weeks ago.

At our local garden centre near Nantwich today, there appeared to have been a microcar outing.

Note the use of shopping trolleys and tape to deter anyone who might be interested in seeing them close up.

hehe for Yertis!
I'm sure I saw this lot or a very similar selection on the A81 near Glasgow a couple of weeks back.
Giant traffic jam behind them of course.

I must admit that although I gently mock, I do love their charming bonkersness, and that of their pilots.

Ford Anglia deluxe, I see it quite often so possibly in daily use. Makes a lovely rasp when it tootles off. TR 4 is mine so doesn’t count as spotted??

It lives next door to me and you're right, it's in daily use.

ETA: Here's mine with it:

Spotted this absolutely beautiful XJ6 S1 the other day, and had to stop for a look. Had a nice chat with the owner about it too which was good, he imported it from the US as a rust free example with great history.

Not classic, not a hero, but definitely from yesterday and actually looking not in bad nick. I think it's someone's daily driver because I see it quite regularly.

Lovely original-looking Triumph 2000 in the car park at Chatsworth House yesterday ...

Quite how the paint would have that shine after 37 years though ... looked great though amongst the modern throng.
I have a photo of that to upload at some point, from the Morrison's supermarket in Chesterfield; I'm fairly sure it's been on PH previously too. It's been with its current keeper since.. 1973!

These cars were built in Cobham by using the chassis, 4-litre straight eight engine and running gear from a Hudson Terraplane or Eight.
This one has a lightweight Ranalah tourer body, making it faster than the Hudson.

They've made a good job of getting the details right, but the windscreen is a giveaway.

I wondered if they were still being sold on a "J" in 1991 in the UK - turns out they were still soldiering on until 2008 - 28 years in production!! Was there a more ancient and dire new car for sale in 2008??
