No, but there is usually a ''trace'' on the DVLA site of when they were last MOT... For this car, it says "this vehicle hasn't had its first MOT" -which is plainly untrue.

It is possible that the car has been exported but the reg still appears on DVLA.

Yes, until May this year. Current rule is "pre 1960" are exempt, so not sure where that leaves the Aston as it's referred to as a 1960 car. On the face of that, it should need an MOT for now.

It's a Royale RP30 FF2000, there were quite a few designs along those lines in the 70's and 80's though!

My 1989 1.9 with my mate's Astra GTE behind on the road - April 1990

On the left, a Stag I had for about two years - 1986-88 ... bag o' ste - on the right - another one I saw locally ... now green.

My Uncle George with one of many Jags he owned in the 50s and early 60s ...

A '65 Mustang coupe - one a K plate - so imported in 1971/72. Taken at Biggin Hill, Kent in the early 70s.

What Jaguar is that in the picture? I can’t think of a 2 door FHC bodied Jag that the door handle and door shut is directly below the rear side window

It's a Mk 7, 8 or 9, so a large four door saloon. Sorry, don't know them well enough to tell which.

Maybe 1959 car not registered till 1960?

Think it goes on date built rather than date registrered. wink

What I like about this thread, and PH in general, is the wide variety of knowledge displayed, often on unexpected and esoteric subjects. This is pertinent here as I have no idea if you are talking about the bus or the racing car!

Love that photo. And one for the "classics dwarfed by moderns" when you see the Renault 5 city car making the executive Rover P6 look small...]

And the P6 seems everywhere in the old photos. far more then Triumph etc versions. Did they make that many? Did they last far longer then others??
I think that may be Hither Green, certainly looks familiar.
