A couple of Flaminias, what is the greyish looking car?
Looks like a Maserati 3500 GT to me.
I think you may be right. Would they have been built in the Lancia factory?

I imagine it's the Touring factory.

OK, that makes sense.

Nice Scirocco overtaking the tanker (CL I think, twin square headlights and no driving lamps in the grille) chased by a low spec SD1 (no foglamps). The Scirocco has twin wipers which was part of the 1984 facelift so that dates the picture to at least then.

But look on the other carriageway. Blue XJ-S in front of the Astra Estate and what's that in the middle lane near the crest just about to go under the bridge? Morgan!

do you that Roy lay awake at nights? - wondering if his premises were going to fall on his stock ?

"buy now while stock lasts" - or, at least, while the building lasts smile

Noticable how in a couple of random snaps like these that there's so much colour in the image, the cars are red, green, blue, orange etc. These days that would be one long precession of silver and 59 shades of grey. Resale monochrome grey, white, black & silver has made the roads dull.

Everyone would go nuts today if you decided to while away your time in a traffic jam standing half in the fast lane of the opposite carriageway!

Correct.. but one would NOT be allowed to leave a centre reserve crossing open [un-barried] like that these days ..

I just saw the HGV in the fast lane an assumed it was approaching. On closer inspection that is a fire engine.
