What's the blue estate?
Mk1 cortina I think ![yes](/inc/images/yes.gif)
A Super Estate
I don't think that's real Lotus-Cortina either......many an ordinary MK.1 'tina was painted up to look like a Lotus back in the day. Don't even think its a GT painted to look like a LC either.

What's the estate/SUV in the 5th row, to the right of the boats? - the screen and chrome surrounds don't fit with a Range Rover. The Marina (P-regd, 8-years old?) in the 2nd row looks to have had a hard life. This shot from the 80s shows how much things had changed from the 60s and 70s, with Volvos, Mercedes, Audi, Renault amongst others.
The area (water) behind and to the left is a marina now.

Yeah, I'd go with the Patrol. Big old units them.
Very rare in UK back then.....plus if photo was 1984, the pre-86 Patrol's had circular headlamps.....and if you zoom in, it looks like it has small rectangular headlamps.....?Which fits better with being an early Jeep Wagoneer which were actually probably more common in UK back then.
There were two people in my motor club that owned them in the mid 80's as cheaper 4x4 for marshalling and rally recovery than a RR.

High Street, Alton, Hants (I’m guessing pre-A31 by-pass), in the days when a nun would check the oil in your Standard 10 Companion whilst the tank was being filled ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

I'm surprised that they haven't been helping out on forecourts for the past two weeks or so.![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

Trying to date the photo, I'd guess 1959/1960; the Rover P5 on the left looks fairly new (introduced late '58) and is that a 105E Anglia three behind the coach? Austin A55 Cambridge in front of the Rover P4?
