Thats at the bottom of Lime Kiln Bank,pity the photo wasnt a bit larger to see what the car dealers were selling at the time as there are now three car showrooms on each corner of the junction all owned by the same family.

Looks like a Hi-Ace van facing the road where the chap is ambling up the hill on the right, and next to it back to the road looks like a Hilux pick up - so Toyota commercials. On the other side of the cross roads, or the right hand side of the frame half way up, can't pick the car but my guess is a Peugeot 309 - the Regatta is a 85 "C" plate which is the year the 309 came to the UK so could be?

That was the first thing I thought too – Scammell truck. Found a pic buy copyright etc.
