Some lovely stuff makes its way to the DIY stores aye 1973 Ford Cortina GT (just also saw the other Black one in an earlier post haha)
Love a Mk3 'Tina. Especially a GT, perfection would be the three door model!Note on this one the common period addition of the rear window spoiler/blinds thing (can't remember the name they were called in the 70s!) and what looks like Wolfrace alloys. Lovely.

They were generally known as rear window louvres back in the day. I’m not convinced they’re Wolfrace alloys; they look more like chromed rims, which I don’t think Wolfrace made.
Had one of those rear window louvers fitted to my new to me Mini back in 1976. A real pain as you couldn't see anything . Apologies for the appalling photo, but had to zoom in quite a way. Ironic as it's so vast it could be seen from space!
Buick GS Wildcat, don't know what year exactly, but mid 60's
And in stunning condition. It was coming out of Morrisons as I was going in, was able to stop alongside for a drool. Completely dwarfed my Eunos!!

Good R107s are seriously big money these days - the SL shop has 2 up for £60k and this nut and bolt 420 for over 100k.https://www.theslshop.com/showroom/1987-mercedes-b...
The SL was the flagship model so there were inevitably quite a few 500 shifted as buyers would gravitate to the top model. There were approx 3 x the number of 280 and 300 sold in the model lifetime than 500 (the 300 replaced the 280, the 500 was there for the whole stint). There were about 12k 500 sold, 38k 280/300. The real unicorn was the 420 with 300 performance and 500 fuel bills. Fewer than 3k sold worldwide.

Where would the 350 fit in to this? I’d have thought that it may have been the most popular R107.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
